Great family vibes!
We had a fab 3-night stay! The breakfast served at your table was super tasty. All the staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home, especially Alicia at reception. The room was spacious and clean. The sea view was a highlight. Only thing, the evening bingo could use better prize money.

I was genuinely impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the Hydro Hotel. The sea view from my twin room was absolutely breathtaking, and the seating areas near the bar were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
More variety in meal timings would be appreciated.

Had a fantastic group getaway with friends! We loved exploring the nearby beach and the vibrant local shops. The location is prime, with a great view from our room and friendly staff that made breakfast enjoyable. There's a well-stocked bar too, perfect for evenings together.
We did face a minor hiccup when one of our friends had to ask for more shower gel, which took a bit longer than expected.

the hydro is a nice hotel with a fab location near the beach. our twin room was comfy enough and really clean. breakfast was well organized with good staff and decent food. the bar is well stocked n prices are really cheap for drinks. they have live entertainment most nights which was fun.
the lift had issues and sometimes took ages to come. also, we had to ask for extra shower gel n only got one set each.

I recently stayed at the Hydro Hotel for a short break. The sea view from my room was fantastic, truly enhancing the stay. I loved the friendly staff. they really made me feel welcome. Breakfast was served quickly, and I enjoyed the cooked-to-order options. The menu for dinner seemed well-planned to cater to older guests, which fit the atmosphere of the hotel. The bar had decent prices and a cozy vibe for evening relaxation. some areas of the hotel felt a bit dated, particularly the decor in my room, which could use a refresh. The lift was finicky, leading to some frustration, especially for those with mobility issues. Occasionally, the shower pressure was inconsistent, which was annoying. I wish breakfast had a later start time to accommodate those wanting to sleep in. Despite these issues, I appreciated the generally clean environment and nice dining experience.

We explored some stunning beaches and visited the amazing local shops. The hotel had a great bar area with cheap drinks, and the breakfast was a real treat. Just a heads-up, the car park can fill up quickly, so plan ahead.
The only bummer was that on arrival the car park was full, which made things a bit tricky for parking.

The dining room offers a spacious ambiance with assigned seating, providing a nice chance to socialize. The entertainment room features classic performances that might appeal to fans of nostalgic tunes, although it may not cater to everyone’s taste.
Breakfast is only served for a limited half-hour, and during my stay, the food arrived cold, with burnt bacon and oddly flavored sausages. Some rooms have limited power outlets, and my ceiling light flickered throughout the night—definitely not ideal for restful sleep. Decor needs updating, as many areas feel neglected and dated.
